Getting into my duds for a Thai massage. The largest sandals they had were about half the size of my feet. The massage itself may have done more harm than good, but I survived!
Karen says I'm messy. I don't know WHAT the heck she's talking about.

We rode bikes out to Chiang Mai's stadium. The smoky haze is from people burning their fields, garbage, etc. Not conducive to bicycling. >>cough, cough<<

Halfway around the world, I found it: an exact duplicate (in terms of taste) of the famous Wisconsin State Fair creme puff, right down to the powdered sugar on top. It was as messy... and delicious... as the ones back home.

Tours available at our hotel. No, #5 is not a reference to my wife- the local Karen people put rings on girls' necks to stretch them. We generally avoid treating humans as tourist attractions and didn't opt for that excursion.

These Junior Guides approached me at a wat in Chiang Mai, eager to practice their English by showing me the historic well. While their English wasn't so good, their enthusiasm was high.

I went to see "Hugo" and found Kermit. Did they have these Muppetational promos at home? (If so, I'm jealous.)
Homesick? Pick up a big bottle of the United States of America.

Ken shows off his new shirt, while simultaneously standing in and next to Thailand's tallest building. (Thanks for the new threads, Karen.)
Who says McDonald's isn't culturally sensitive? Ronald says "thank you" in the traditional Thai pose... and serves up the same old greasy food. Not that we would know- we're avoiding the Golden Arches.

In Bangkok, Karen gets her second international chiropractic adjustment. Her first was four months ago in New Zealand.

It's our first full day in Thailand and we love Thai food, so for dinner we have... Japanese?!

The crocodile farm next to our hotel. Their meat is destined to be served up at restaurants down the block. Their skins are headed for Thailand to be made into purses.

In Cambodia, you can get incredible prices on clothes from top names. Just don't look too closely at the names.

Karen found the last person on earth who hadn't experienced the wonder of the iPad: a Cambodian on staff at our hotel. She cured him of this affliction. Steve Jobs can now rest in peace.

Ken finally gets the burger he's been craving, while Jeff goes right for the fries (can you blame him?).
