One of my new favorite places is the Angkor temple of Pre Rup, built in 961 AD. We went there for sunrise and had the whole place to ourselves.

The rickety wooden ferry across the Mekong River leaves when it's full (about 10 people). Naturally, there are only two life jackets on board. I was carrying a large water bottle that Karen and I could have used for floatation, and we're good swimmers... the rest of you suckers are on your own!

Ken is feeling like a bit of a wimp for complaining about conditions inside a Malaysian hospital. In Cambodia, they plug you in and send you home. Once we realized this, we noticed FIVE mobile IVs in one day in dusty Kratie!
